Creighton University Women’s Volleyball head coach Kirsten Bernthal Booth and sports psychiatrist Dr. Larry Widman had prioritized mental training for years. When COVID disrupted normal routines, they looked for a tool that could support daily mental training remotely and found a gap.

They began creating audio-based visualization sessions for athletes directly. The response from players helped spark the idea that eventually became NeuroFuel.

What started as a need for one college program became a broader solution for younger athletes, especially club and high school players who were already training physically but rarely had a consistent system for the mental side of performance.
